SANFORD

STEM BUILDING

Sanford School wanted to create an effective and comprehensive STEM program on their campus and tasked FCA to bring this environment to one of their existing buildings. FCA began to explore the structure and conceived of a way to minimize the overall cost and maximize the aesthetic impact of the project. Necessary structural, ADA and egress modifications were seamlessly incorporated into the design. The classrooms received much needed glazing to maximize the natural daylight and decrease the number of fixtures required to be on for an optimal teaching environment.
