This Building was designed to
replace a structure that served as a barn, a dormitory, and as a
classroom/administrative building since the inception of Sanford School. The
new design has allowed expansion of the Upper School while maintaining the
campus vernacular. A circular tower was incorporated into the design to
reflect the imagery of the silo from the original structure. Several other
historical elements from the original building were incorporated into the
design. The building serves the English, Foreign Language, History and Art
program for grades 9 through 12.
