The Newark County Club is situated on a ‘Davis Love’ 18 hole golf course located just outside Newark in Fair Hill, Maryland. The club has relocated to this site to modernize their operations and add additional amenities to attract new memberships. The new club is approximately 27,000 s.f. and contains administrative offices, a full-service kitchen, social spaces including lounge and dining facilities for 160 occupants, a 180 occupant ballroom, a multi-purpose space and a large fitness room. Locker rooms and a pro shop are adjacent to the fitness area and can be accessed from the golf course. The building design allows golf cart and bag storage on a lower level. The building aesthetic is based on an Agrarian style that is contextual to the surrounding area.
